Amazon Voyage is an online exhibition from Miami Science Museum about the Amazon River, its fish and culture. On an interactive (although a bit old) homepage one can listen to scientists talk about their research, follow the ecosystem through flood season and dry season and learn something about how local cultures connect to the fish and the ecosystem. There are plenty of short films and graphics that present fish species from the river. By browsing the exhibition one meets electric eels, cat fishes, the the parasitic Candiru , the freshwater stingray, pirhanas and others. A pleasant holiday activity, enjoy at www.amazonvoyage.org.
